There are no signs of Muslims leaving Europe - and, of course, there should not be any calls for them to do so. In fact, the population of European Muslims may only grow further with continued migration from Muslim countries, conversions to Islam, and especially if Turkey joins the EU. Muslims have a long history in Europe, have contributed to its development, and continue to make Europe what it is today. For that reason, their presence should not be feared but celebrated.

At 8pm on 27th July 2012, Muslims from across the United Kingdom planned to converge peacefully at the Olympic park, to voice their disapproval of the British government and the Olympic games. Issues to be addressed included the anti-Muslim British foreign policy, the prohibition of participating in the Olympic tournament, the need for unity among Muslims worldwide, and the global obligation of implementing the Khilafah (Islamic State).
Unfortunately, it seems as though this sincere campaign was too much for the tyrannical British government, and although numerous other protests were given the go ahead during the opening ceremony of the Olympic games, the only one that did get banned was to no surprise the Muslim one.
We would like to reiterate that Muslims will view this as another victory for Islam, seeing as once again the so called coveted values of freedom and democracy have been compromised and thrown in the bin, at the mere suggestion of a peaceful Islamic demonstration.

(Reuters) - A group of British Islamists said they had received permission to stage a protest on Friday outside the London Olympic Park to denounce what they called the evil of the Games.

At 8pm on 27th July 2012, Muslims from across the United Kingdom planned to converge peacefully at the Olympic park, to voice their disapproval of the British government and the Olympic games. Issues to be addressed included the anti-Muslim British foreign policy, the prohibition of participating in the Olympic tournament, the need for unity among Muslims worldwide, and the global obligation of implementing the Khilafah (Islamic State).
Unfortunately, it seems as though this sincere campaign was too much for the tyrannical British government, and although numerous other protests were given the go ahead during the opening ceremony of the Olympic games, the only one that did get banned was to no surprise the Muslim one.
We would like to reiterate that Muslims will view this as another victory for Islam, seeing as once again the so called coveted values of freedom and democracy have been compromised and thrown in the bin, at the mere suggestion of a peaceful Islamic demonstration.
