[Oz / Melbourne] Muslim Women Leaders and Professionals Panel

This panel aims to foster a better understanding of Islam in the community and showcase the diversity of Muslim women's contribution to Australian society.

Panelists include:
Dr Nasya Bafhen, journalist/producer at ABC Radio Australia and Radio National, sports reporter and UTS research associate.

Dr Senem Eren, life coach, counsellor and researcher who is passionate about inspiring others to recognise and embrace their true potential.

Farah Farouque, former senior journalist at The Age, covering legal and social policy issues including cultural diversity in the community.

Mehal Krayem, PhD candidate at UTS, focusing on the representation of Arab and Muslim Australians in Australian crime drama.

Sarah Sabbagh, youth and community worker, and founder and chair of Benevolence.

Presented by the Islamic Council of Victoria's Office for Women.
This event forms part of Melbourne Knowledge Week, a City of Melbourne initiative.
