Speaking at the 2012 MUSWEN annual lecture titled: "Preventing religious disputes and violemce in South West Nigeria" in Ibadan, Daud noted that no zone was immune to insecurity phenomenon.
He reiterated that the activities of Boko Haram have nothing to do with Islam, saying that Islam preaches peace and abhors violence.
