TEHERAN Iran’s judiciary has upheld a nine-year prison sentence it handed to human rights lawyer Mohammad Ali Dadkhah for acting against national security, the lawyer said on Saturday.
“The sentence comprises of a nine-year prison term, a 10-year ban on practicing law and teaching at university, and a whipping sentence which changed into a fine of 25 million rials ($1,500),” Dadkhah said.
