Ramadan, who has been an advisor of British government and is a Muslim Brotherhood leader in Europe, claims that “religion was not Mohamed Merah’s problem”. He goes on describing the mass murderer as “a French citizen frustrated at being unable to find his place, to give his life dignity and meaning in his own country”, “a pathetic young man”, “the victim of a social order” and so on.
