On Thursday two more U.S. soldiers were killed in Afghanistan in the wake of the military’s burning of Qurans used to smuggle intelligence from military prisoners. At the same time the head of the United Nations mission in Afghanistan says the response to the burning by Afghanis is legitimate and that the soldiers who burned the Qurans need to be punished.
