Led by Maulana Darwesh, the protesters marched from Chiri Koban and gathered at Chowk Yadgar. The protesters were chanting slogans against the United States as well as the Pakistan government. The latter was criticised for failing to adequately compensate the victims of terrorist attacks and for discriminating between those killed in bombings in different places.
