Muslim bomb plot ''was amateurish'' - lawyer

LONDON, Feb 8 (KUNA) -- A Muslim extremist plot to bomb the London Stock Exchange was "amateurish" and unlikely to have succeeded, a court heard here Wednesday.
One of the men behind the conspiracy, father-of-three Gurukanth Desai, 30, was "more of an anti-capitalist than a radical Islamist", London's Woolwich Crown Court was told.
Desai and three other radicals pleaded guilty last week to preparing for acts of terrorism by planning to plant a bomb in the toilets of the Stock Exchange.
