A fake story tells us that when Allah wants to choose a friend for Himself and to appoint him to run His system, He sends the person to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). When the chosen one goes to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), he says, “take him to my son Abdul Qadir Jelani.” He will interview him and will assign him tasks as per his abilities.
Sheikh Jilani then selects the candidate and confirmation is sent to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
