As Muslims around the world last week ended their annual Hajj Pilgrimage to Mecca with the Eid al-Adha ceremony commemorating Abraham's readiness to obey God's decree to sacrifice his son Ishmael, such a celebration had to take place in secret in Broward County.
Self-anointed animal savior Sheila Alu, a Sunrise Commissioner and Broward County State Attorney (who states in her Facebook that she "recently has become a vegetarian"), got wind of the fact that goats and sheep were going to be ritually slaughtered according to Islamic law and "singlehandedly" shut it down in her city.
