Every week I receive thousands of emails, letters and messages expressing an opinion about my latest musings.
Good, bad or indifferent, I am grateful for them all.
However, things need to change.
There are so many issues that need to be tackled head on.
That's why I have started a campaign to restore common sense as a guiding principle in matters of public policy and private concern.
The campaign means that my communication with you will be a bit different from now on.
I'll still be writing my columns every week but I’ll also be keeping you informed about instances where common sense seems to have ‘left the building’.
Every Wednesday I’ll be sending a regular email highlighting my latest blog and some other stories that are worthy of your attention.
And this is where you can play a big part.
When you see or hear something that doesn't appear to pass the common sense test, please let me know. That way I can share it with many thousands of people via email and through social media.
After all, the more people we make aware, the more chance there is of making a difference.
