US Consul General opens ''Islam in America'' exhibit
Mumbai, Sep 6 (PTI) The US Consul General in Mumbai, Peter Haas, today inaugurated the ''Islam in America'' exhibit at the iconic Haji Ali Dargah here. The American Center, Mumbai, in collaboration with Sayed Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari Dargah Trust, has hosted this poster and video exhibit to showcase the various aspects of Islam and Muslims in America and celebrate cultural diversity in that country. In cities and towns across the United States, Muslim Americans participate in everyday activities with their fellow Americans, while at the same time maintaining the rich heritage of Islamic tradition.More of the "rich heritage" at "IBN Live"
