Iran Urges Muslim Media to Shed Light on West's Support for Dictators
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister Seyed Mohammad Hosseini called on Islamic countries' mass media to strive to unveil the western states' support for dictators in the region.
"Westerners have, so far, showed that they support dictators in the Muslim countries and the rulers who are neither a supporter of the people nor an adherent of Islam," Hosseini said, addressing participants in the third Islamic Film Market in Tehran on Sunday.
Addressing the Islamic media, he said, "We should be able to clarify the issue (the West's support for dictators) and show that Islamic is the religion of salvation."
