AHMAD HASSAN says he always had a desire to acquire more knowledge about Islam.
''I considered attending some of the other courses that are currently offered by various community groups and places of education,'' he says. ''I did some research and selected the master of Islamic studies.''
He believes it is a unique program that offers ''the opportunity to learn about the traditional Islamic sciences, in addition to subjects that deal with current issues''.
