[Mother of Mercy, a Catholic high school for girls, canceled its involvement in an inter-faith Ramadan dinner planned for Friday at the request of Archbishop Dennis Schnurr.
Schnurr recently cited safety and community concerns about the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a national group with a local chapter.
The meal has been moved by a local Catholic lay group to the Catholic Center at the St. Monica-St. George parish in University Heights.]
